Run family calendars, pickups, and homework help with specialized agents
Tools: OpenClaw, Mac Minis / old laptops
Setup, access, approval gate, failure notes
- Setup / prompt
- Nine single-purpose agents (family calendar, inbound sales, kids' homework, podcast, etc.) rather than one generalist.
- Access required
- Separate agent accounts and delegated access, expanded gradually
- HITL checkpoint
- Staged permissions: start narrow, widen only after trust is earned
- Outcome & failure notes
- Now a daily driver for her family and business, but the first attempt deleted her family calendar. The fix was specialization plus staged, delegated access instead of handing one agent everything.
